It my first “Weekend Learning List,” where I’m going to share some of the cool and insightful things I’m learning about right now.
It could be anything from fitness to nutrition to mindset to business to WHATEVER!
BUT…everything I will share is something that I truly believe will add value to your life if applied.

Being able to DECIDE and move forward with one of your goals is one of the most valuable skill sets you can ever have.
So many people lack the ability to actually MAKE a decision and follow through. If this sounds like you, you’re simply falling back on old habits and sinking back into your comfort zone.
Here’s a trick to hack your way to success: All you need to do is repeat the new behavior long enough for it to become a habit in your life. THAT’S it!
Let nature take over and run its course. So instead of focusing on how far you have to go, focus on the behavior you want to change and stick with it until it becomes automatic. (this can take anywhere from 18 to 254 days.
But the good news is that on average it takes only 66 days to be in the “sweet spot.”
Lesson #2: Cuddle up to the principle of hyperbolic discounting.
Hyperbolic Discounting means that the farther away a reward is in the future, the smaller the immediate motivation you will have to achieve it.
Success Hack: Set mini-goals on your way to success. Break up a long term goal into monthly goals into weekly goals into daily goals.
Not only that, but figure out the ONE most important thing that will create success for that mini-goal…and then do THAT.
Lesson #3: Remind yourself that we’re only here ONCE.
We never know which day will be our last. If you woke up this morning, then today is already INCREDIBLE.
Take to heart that each day is truly a gift..and you may see a massive shift in the way you go about your day.
Like Dr. Seuss says: “Today I shall behave, as if this day I will be remembered.”
Success Hack: Ask yourself EVERY morning what you are going to do to make today EXTRAORDINARY.
Just going through the motions sucks. Life is amazing- so get out there and make each day freaken INCREDIBLE.
