Where do I start with Meredith?!
If I were to describe her in one word, I would say “Committed.” Since the first day I met Meredith, she has been on a mission to become better each day than the last.
She’s committed to her family, her fiancé, her friends, her career, her fitness and her nutrition.
She’s focused, driven, and always gives it 110%.
If you ever find yourself lucky enough to sit next to Meredith in class, be prepared to work harder and push a little bit extra.
It’s been amazing to watch her transform from the first day she came to boot camp. We’re so proud to be able to be a part of her journey!!
Here’s Meredith’s story in her own words…..
As much as I worked out, because I’m one of those people who can’t live a few days without the gym or sweating, nothing was happening!
I realized it was because I had nobody keeping me in line with my nutrition and staying accountable for me and my health.
It wasn’t until the end of 2011 that I had had ENOUGH! It was time to make a change and it SURE was one! It was probably the best decision of my life to Join Forte!
Alicia is not only extremely supportive and a bad ass trainer, but she is a friend whom I could run to with ANY questions, concerns and problems.
She guided me all the way, even when I took a break to train and focus on accomplishing my 1st Half Marathon. At this point in my life, I’ve NEVER felt this amazing. I’m smaller than I was in High School, which was over 10 years ago.
It’s all about your DIET and I’ve learned that the HARD way! You get what you put in FOR SURE!
This year I am getting married and plan to be even more in shape then I am today. Since I have all the tools, the prize is in sight!
Myself and a friend decided to purchase this 21 day Groupon to start off The New Year 2012 and have a fit life! We decided to start going a few days a week and became obsessed. We absolutely loved Alicia, the people, and the workouts!
We ended up going 6 days a week and loved every minute of it!
I’ve gone down 2 pant sizes and have been consistent with my weight for quite a while now! I also picked up running long distance and do that every other day!
I’ve become extremely strong and even more competitive than I was growing up. I love to sweat! I have made it a LIFESTYLE change not only for myself, but for my loved ones.
I’m not on a FAD diet, I’m on a DIET for my life!
As soon as I picked up running and Boot Camp, I’ve became stronger, leaner and faster.
I accomplished my 1st Half Marathon, 13.1 miles, this past December in Orlando.
I ran it in 2:12 minutes, which for a 1st timer is such a great time and I was so impressed with my training and motivation to complete it.
My best advice to someone who may be on the fence about joining is to not give up and stay motivated! Try and get a buddy or your loved one to join this journey with you! It is so much easier to push someone when you know it’s both of you doing it to make yourselves healthy!
I also believe ORGANIZATION is key. When I come to work on Monday, I write down what my plan is for the week- workouts, food, extra fun activities!
I make sure I stay on top of it and hold myself accountable.
I have wanted to give up so many times because I’ve worked so hard and didn’t see the results, but as soon as I relaxed and lived my life, it all came together!”
