I’m VERY excited to introduce Superhero Andrea Leo to you as our Forte Fitness client spotlight of the month!
When Andrea first came in to us back in December, she had just moved here from Tampa. From her very first workout, we knew that Andrea had an inner drive to always do her best.
When we do our warm-up lap, Andrea takes off running straight from her mat instead of waiting until the track.
She always gives it 110% and doesn’t stop until the job is done.
She loves to workout and enjoy life.
Working out is a part of her life and she will never compromise on that.
We asked her a few questions to find out a little more about what keeps her motivated:
Q: What is your favorite inspirational quote?
A: “If you want something in your life you’ve never had, you’ll have to do something you’ve never done.”
Q: What are your personal health and fitness goals?
A: I work out to feel strong and make up for eating desserts. 🙂
Q: What one thing keeps you most focused and motivated to continue to work hard to reach your goals?
A: I strongly believe in mind over matter, and that nothing is unachievable if you want it badly enough.
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started with us?
A: I grew up and spent most of my life in St. Paul, Minnesota. I had never worked out a day in my life until I moved to Miami with my husband in 2008. I had taken a year off of work and got bored out of my mind really quickly, so I decided to start focusing on getting into shape.
The first time I got on a treadmill I couldn’t even run for a full minute without getting winded. But I kept at it and eventually ran my first 5k, then 10 miler, then half marathon! Fitness just became part of my lifestyle, and I find that it is as necessary to me mentally as it is physically.
Q: What would you say to someone who is on the fence about starting a new fitness program?
A: You will never regret it.
Q: What is your “word” of the year?!
I hope that Andrea’s spotlight helps to motivate YOU a little extra this week.
Make sure to leave her a comment below if she has had an impact on YOUR life!
